Camels @ Bears
Mercer posters....I'm going to try to make the basketball game at Mercer today if I can get away from Cordele in time. I'd enjoy meeting you guys! I'll try to sit near halfcourt behind the team benches near the top of the lower section(?). (40yrold white dude with white & blue striped dress shirt and khakis.) Come by and say "hey"!!!

Hey old guy, lol! Did you have any visitors? By the way it was good to meet you at the last home game.

No visitors and I'm a little disappointed! They probably saw me, but didn't think there was any way I could be 40 and kept looking elsewhere!! (Yeah, right!)

Mercer's University Center is very impressive. Maybe a little nicer than Belmont's. I hope Campbell's will be as nice, but I know we won't have a pool or a ChikFiLa (both already in other buildings).

Sorry. I didn't see the post until after the game. I would have liked to shake your hand to thank you for all the work you put into pick'em. it makes this board a lot of fun.

you do bring up an interesting debate though. the curb center vs. the university center. i played against one of belmont's players in high school and talked to him for a quick second. he was very impressed with the gym and thinks it is better than belmonts. where as some of the mercer guys i talk to think belmont's is better. maybe after spending enough time in those gyms they see their own flaws a little more. i would like to hear what neutral viewers have to say and why. (not that this is a bash session, b/c both facilities are very nice and new). i have not been to belmont's personally so i wouldn't know. seems like an interesting debate.

also if our boys beat lipscomb, i'm going to head up and see johnson city to start spring break. this is a very long shot(i don't have my bags packed or anything in anticipation). if they lose then i will have to congratulate those remaining players for still playing their hearts out despite all the adversity this year. and start going to more baseball games, since they seem legit this year and, plus are a very good group of guys.
