Today's win.
Nice to see alot of other guys get into the game. I heard Sneed was sick, hence his lack of playing time, but we had good Taylor, Williams and Keaton sightings today, which helped rest the legs of some of the guys. I think though had ETSU been able to put JU away earlier in the game, I think that we might have been able to rest everyone even more. Anyhoo, Rhoda didn't play due to injury, and Tuggle didn't play obviously, but other than that, everyone saw minutes. I believe that Tayloe might be one of the better point guards that ETSU has had when it's all said and done, he looked fast, and played well against one of the better guards in the league in Antonio Cool.

If he's going to be a good PG put him in now and move Smith to two. I've been saying that for years.

So has Rod.

Now, I don't know. Goiong off stats here- 50 points from the forwards on a one-win team?

That spells S-O-F-T in my book.

Let's just put it this way. Bragging on 11-point wins over one-win teams is not the status ETSU basketball should be in now.

He's not ready to be a full time point guard just yet. With Sneed and Rhoda on the bench due to illness and injury that made the forward productivity naturally go down. Rhoda's been averaging close to if not over double figures, and Sneed was averaging around 12 a game. It doesn't bother me at all that Tim, Courtney and Travis split time playing the point and the two, each scoring double figures that way...

Strong and Pigram didn't play that much point. When Smith got hurt Taylor ran it and even when Smith came back Taylor was still the point. He played the last 17 minutes of the game, all at the PG spot.

But they did all see some action at the PG position. I thought the guard play in general was really good yesterday, I mean you can't argue against 66 points coming out of the guards, and Tayloe scoring more in one game than he had all season. I can't wait to see him put on a little muscle, he, along with Pigram, Keaton, and Dante Williams will be incredible I think as a unit.
