How did Jacksonville fall so badly?
I'm no expert in JU basketball, but it does intrigue me how a school that once played for a national championship can fall to the point they are now 1-11 and in Chicago State status.

I know 1970 was a long time ago, but what happened? Why is Jacksonville like Duquesne and couldn't build on their glorious past?

I think the total lack of a response might be part of the answer.

True. But they have some good athletes. They came to Boone last year and played us the week after we played at LSU. Considering their scholarship status they played well.
