Sneed Question
I did not get a chance to listen to today's game but I noticed Sneed only played 8 min. Did he get hurt or was he just not playing well?

Good road win. We need to keep going.

He had 2 early fouls in the first half and was on the bench for the rest of the half, then he had a quick foul at the beggining of the second half, which further limited his minutes.

Another thing that is hurting Sneed is ETSU is starting to play a more pressing uptempo style of defense and Sneed isn't very good in that type of defense. Brad on the other hand is flourishing, his blocked shots have been on the rise lately.

Shaw- this is incredible. In one thread you speak of Sneed's greatness and blame me for something Kelly Hodge wrote- now you admit he is playing subpar.

What gives?

Again, when I say the Tri-Cities has the worst sports fans in America, I know what I'm talking about.

I didn't call Sneed great, I said he was good player and put him some really good numbers last year. I also said he isn't as well suited to the style of game that ETSU is playing right now on the defensive end, he is getting in early foul trouble playing that style, he needs to adjust his game or his minutes will suffer when ETSU plays that way. However, the other night againist FAU when Bartow got away from the press in the 2nd half Sneed had a very effective game.

Sneed
Doesn't seem to be as useful at the end of the game. If you are leading, his FT % is a liability. If you are trailing, he does not seem to do as well on the press. Still he plays hard most of the time and can a force down low.

Sneed is a solid player down low who has a block on his free throw shooting. You know what though? Let him keep going to the hole, he's big, strong, and can rebound fairly well. Once Reed is going full speed again, him, Sneed, Nuck, and Co. will be golden.
