There have been rumors floating around that the Bucs may be considering a return to football. Is there any validity to these rumors?

If so, what is the time table?

Over in the Big South, we are desperately seeking more football members. So we have a vested interest in any new programs.

Would love to give you the answer YES, but I can’t. There is a movement afoot but without support from the administration it will struggle. Our esteemed president is convinced all regional universities will have to drop football or face financial ruin. Since he made this decision and KILLED football at ETSU a number of small to medium sized schools have added football or announced plans to add football.

Good luck with your program, cherish what you have.
