What is the name of your school? And who the hell are wadoodah and fields? I guess maybe you just think they're cute?!?

Its East Tennessee State University. Thought you might know that. We are joining the conference next season. Wadood and Fields are 2 of the best players to ever come through ETSU. They graduated in 2003 after leading us to 2 strait NCAA tournaments, losing both years by 3 pts. (not bragging about losing by the way)

By the way, when was the last time Stetson made the NCAA's?

The only sport worth anything in the ASun is baseball (which will take a hit with FAU and UCF leaving)! I was just kidding about not knowing the name of your school. The 2003 baseball team was in the final 32 teams in the NCAA Baseball tournament. I don't follow any other Stetson sports because they all suck! If all you get is one team in the NCAA tournament, from your automatic bid, then the conference sucks! Fortuantely, I have ties with another University to get my Football and Basketball fix.

P.S. UCF's move to CONF. USA should have been Football motivated, but my God they are horrible!

Just curious hatter - what school do you have ties with?

A-Sun basketball has been decent recently...especially 2003-2004 when 4 teams were in the top 100...UCF went to the dance and Troy and Belmont both went to the NIT. Nothing to be ashamed of there.

With ETSU and KSU joining - the basketball conference will be better than it was last year, and maybe better than 2 years ago. I don't think Matt Doherty will be able to turn FAU around in their 1 year left of membership, but there will still some exposure because of his hiring.

I'm with you ETSU, Stetson does blow. And I'll add UCF to that list in a tie for first place. Two schools that think their $#*! doesn't stink. I hate their players, I hate their coaches and I hate their FANS!

I would think HatterChatter may give away my ties. Anyway UCF and FAU are both bitter since neither will win anything in the forseeable future. Good luck in C-USA. It will really suck when football is still 0-11 and then when basketball comes around you blow. Then baseball in that conference doesn't have the Lipscomb's of the world. FAU has a much better chance for success in the Sun Belt, but we really have no rivalry with them other then baseball. UNF will take their place in that role.

Blowing in C-USA is better than blowing in the A-Sun. :)
