That is truly sad. I have never really followed BB, but I do understand the financial benefits for the conference when we get teams into the Big Dance and they win and advance. The SBC must work this issue hard as we all need the NCAA BB revenue!

I knew we'd have a tough year this year with the additions of ULM, FAU, and Troy in the last two years. The conference membership should be stable for the next 3-5 years.
At the last summer conference meetings, basketball was the big topic of discussion. Hopefully leadership has realized it has SLIPPED (duh). They made some recommendations that hopefully will get us on the right track. Obviously the biggest thing that would help is something that each school has to deal with on their own, money. I-A football is expensive. The MAC is struggling in basketball now too, I don't think it is a coincidence.
