I'd say 25 or 26 wins would do it. One more win would have gotten us in last year... we don't have as many quality wins this year so we need one extra win to compensate for that. Then one more win to push us over the hump.

I think it would be very hard to leave us out with 25 wins. Tough, but not impossible. If we won 9 out of 11 remaining (div. 1) games and then won two games in the tourney then we would be there.

I say 26, possibly 25, but it depends upon who the remaining losses are too.

Even if we win out, no at-large chance. We are 0-3 vs Top 50 RPI. We have no good wins. Tenn would have been a huge win.

True, galojay. I should have prefaced my prediction with the statement, "depends upon who we lose to AND how well our out of Conference opponents from early in the season finish". In other words, if GA and UAB finish very strong, at or near top of their conferences, we'll look much better. Our RPI ranking will only be going down throughout the remaining Sunbelt schedule. Our only chance is for our OOC teams to win, win, win.

......but....all we have to do is win the Sunbelt tourney and make our own destiny.

Honestly Galo, I am more optimistic about getting in with 25 wins than I am about getting TO 25 wins.

Zilch, zip, zero... I'm not being a pessimist either. It's just not happening unless we win the tournament. We've still got some scary games ahead of us, especially as long as CLee is hanging out on the sidelines in his warmups for 40 minutes.
