ULM has looked good from the scores i've seen them put up against other teams in the Sun Belt. Who do they finish with and when is their game against the 5 time Sun Belt Champ ?

I expect ULM to lose at least one game between now and their game against the Ragin Cajuns. The game between the Cajuns and Indians will be for the SBC title and the Cajuns will be playing on their home field for the New Orleans Bowl.

IMHO Cajuns chances for the title? Slim & none, but feel free to dream on.

Easy scenario for the Cajuns though. Winning out (which would include wins over UNT, FIU, and ULM) would put them at 6-5, 5-2 in conference. Monroe would have to lose one game before the Cajuns went up there at the end of the season. If ULM and ASU both lose a game, then that would put them all at a 4-way tie for 1st (ULM would be 5-1, but then a loss to the Cajuns puts them at 5-2 and ASU would have 2 losses if they lose one more and UNT would have 2 losses). For a 4-way tie, the New Orleans Bowl picks who will represent the conference in the bowl game. Hmmmm, would they pick the school where the game is being played? Uhhh yea.
The chances aren't slim to none. They're still pretty good odds.

Do you even read what your writing? EACH TEAM HAS 4 CONFERENCE GAMES LEFT! Are you really trying to tell me, that its completely unfeasable that ULM goes 2-2 in the last four, I mean, theyve only won 3 in a row. Are you telling me, its unfeasable to see UNT/ASU to lose 1 more game this year. come on, their not even halfway through the schedule. When you look at the balance of the conference (ASU goes to OT to beat FAU 3-0, and ULM beats FAU in the last seconds like 27-24, Troy beats UNT at home, then Loses on the road to UL and ULM), I find it hard to believe that the conference champion won't atleast have one, or possibly 2 losses at the end of the year. Its not over, UL/MT/and Troy all still have shots if they win out, and with UL playing ULM and UNT in the last 3, it gives them a slight advantage over the other 2 if they win out.

I doubt seriously that ULL can get thru conference play with only 2 losses. Conference winner will probably have no more than 1 loss. I repeat ULL's chances are SLIM & NONE.
Have a nice day

So UNT's chances will be done after the Cajuns beat them this week. NT will have 2 losses and be watching the Cajuns win the conference with 2 conference losses.

This is great to see, having a race like this in the Sun Belt conference. All this tension building with 4 conference games left. This is college football atmosphere! I love it!

I've gotta be reading this incorrectly, you guys think this is a great year? There's a possiblity that your conference champ will have a losing record...again!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway, I'm all for ULL taking it home. UNT is terrible this year. ULM is just a pretender. Who knows, it's really up in the air. For the sake of your conference, I hope that the team that wins the title has a winning record.

It's a great year because 4 teams are still in the race for the conference championship with about 3 weeks left. Normally, UNT locks up the title by this time.
And the SBC champ will not have a losing record.

We MAY have a team with a losing record having a share of the title, but not the title. On the flip side, we still have 5 teams with chances at winning records. So the conference wont have an 8-3 or 7-4 team like we've had the last few seasons with UNT, but I think we will have atleast 2 6-5 teams.

the ulm-mtsu game is an elimination game. if ulm wins, the ulm/ull game is an elimination game.
the asu-troy game could very well be an elimination game.
no team has it easy. it will be much more clear next weekend.
