3 Point Line moves back a foot
On the 20th anniversary of the biggest rules change in college basketball the NCAA men's basketball rules committee has decided to move the line back a full foot to 20 feet 9 inches. They also decided not to change the size of the lane. The measure needs to be approved by the Playing Rules Oversight Committee which will meet on May 25.

OK, guys get a rack of balls and get used to it. A good change, in my opinion.

Actually, I think it's a good idea. There were too many automatic 3's being scored. This will make it a litle more difficult to do.

The women's line didn't change, so there will be 2 three point lines on each end of the court.

I think this is going to hurt the smaller guards like Watson, Redell, and EMU's guard, slips my mind. Three point shots require a little more leg under the ball from that range. I think this may help teams with bigger three point shooters.

two three point lines, spaced only a foot apart? Wow, these courts are going to look like ass.

Becomes a big man's game.
This change favors colleges that can recruit the big men (the BSC schools) and penalizes the midmajors (sorry guys) who recruit the three point shooters to compensate for not being able to recruit the seven footers on a regular basis.

Now the BSC schools not only can recruit the bigger players but also focus on monopolizing the few players who can hit from such a long distance. The chances of midmajors upsets now diminishes.

In other words....I'm not for it. Save it for the pros.
