Maybe the WVU "situation" didn't affect Dakich's c

Maybe the WVU "situation" didn't affect Dakich's c
Since that seems to be a defined turning point, maybe we assume that the whole WVU fiasco caused the BG program to slide, but I'm starting to wonder of Danny Boy just decided at that point in time that he was burned out on coaching and that's why he turned away from WVU? Perhaps he thought he could ride it out at BG and still have moderate success, but after years and years under Knight, and some tough post-season snubs as the head man at BG, maybe in teh back of his mind, he had already had it?

Just a thought.

My understanding is that, Dakich did not like the "ethical atmosphere" he found the program in upon his arrival at WVU.

Not a chance. Dakich has too much pride to sandbag it.

Dan will end up as an assistant somewhere, possibly New Mexico.
