OOC Schedule Ranking:

1. WMU (play 3 BCS teams on the road that made it to the postseason)
2. NIU (play four teams that made it to the postseason; at Navy and at Wisconsin tough games; at Idaho is 1,700 miles away; SIU is one of the top 1-AA teams the past few years)
3. Miami (play 5 BCS teams, but only two made it to the postseason and one of them they get to play at home)
4. CMU (3 BCS teams on the road and one very good 1-AA team that beat Ball State last season)
5. Ball State (play 3 BCS teams on the road, two of which are low level BCS teams; two teams made postseason; at Navy difficult)
6. Buffalo (play 3 BCS teams on road, two of which went to postseason)
7. Kent State (play two good BCS teams on the road that made it to the postseason)
8. EMU (Only one OOC team in postseason, but still playing 4 BCS teams)
9. Bowling Green (2 postseason teams; one of which had a losing season and fired their coach)
10. Toledo (Get to play 2 BCS opponents at home and their hardest OOC road game is a 6-6 Kansas team)
11. Akron (Only one OOC opponent made it to the postseason)
12. Temple (Get to play two toughest OOC opponents at home and their hardgest OOC road game is 4-8 UConn)
13. Ohio (Only one BCS team and that is the only OOC team that played in the postseason)

No offense butI would basically reverse this order.
Just cause teams play a bunch of powerhouses does not make for a good schedule. What you want are as many home games as possible. High profile but winnable home games and nothing that's gonna bang you up too much, extended travel, glut of midweek games, etc... that can wear a team out. Toledo clearly has the best schedule. They have 2 excellent non conf home games with Purdue and Iowa State, plus a cruise game in between with a 1AA squad. The only non conf road game is a winnable one against a pretty well known school. They get 2 of their 3 top competitors for the west at home and aren't hit with a bunch of crappy midweek ESPN broadcasts that have been hurting home attendance and momentum down the stretch the past couple of years.

Ohio has a good schedule. A chance to win a lot of games. A name opponent at home. a winnable D1 road game. In fact they should win out at home and break the school attendance record this year unless there is an unexpected collapse.

Western's schedule is a killer, although I wouldn't be surprised to see them pull off an upset, they could be worn down by their non conf schedule and slump in the MAC.
