Let's see what you think of your fellow SBC members for this coming football season. List your prediction for the order of finish but leave your team out.

1) Middle Tennessee- will be out to prove they should have been in the New Orleans Bowl last year. Hicks will have a monster season.

2) North Texas- will be out to prove they were no fluke last year. Defense will be good but not as good as last year. Offense will improve with so many starters returning.

3) Arkansas State- will suprise many. New Head Coach Steve Roberts will bring around a team that has been going in the wrong direction.

4) New Mexico State- will suffer at the QB position but defense will be strong and keep them close in every game.

5) Idaho- Cable's team rebounds from a horrible 2001 season but the defense still lets them down.

6) ULM- Solid defense but horrible offense. Not enough for a winning season. Keasler will be replaced at the end of the season.

Middle Tennessee and North Texas will again battle it out for the top slot but this time both teams will have winning records. Middle Tennessee takes the title as they defeat North Texas in Murfreesboro at the end of the season.

P.S. Geaux Cajuns!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Since my team resides in Fayetteville...I'll just pick all 7, lol.

1) Middle TN State - Hicks is the most underrated RB in the country. Blue Raiders deserved the title last year but faltered in Denton. They won't falter this year.
2) North Texas - Mean Green (Eagles) have some momentum after winning last year's conference title. 21 starters back doesn't hurt their chances. Gave CO State a decent game last year.
3) La-Lafayette - Tough game at Middle TN, but from history, the Cajuns have always been a tough team to handle. A new coach will fire up the old spirits in Lafayette.
4) New Mexico State - Strong D, no O. Sounds a lot like Oklahoma to me. Unfortunately, in the Big XII, you don't need much offense to win. In the Sun Belt, you do.
5) Idaho - 23 starters return, but from a team that wasn't all that good last year. When Idaho finally builds a new stadium, so they don't have to play home games in another state, that'll help too. No home field advantage really for the Vandals.
6) La-Monroe - Horrid offense, as usual, but these guys could really surprise some people I think. The boost in season ticket sales shows that the fans in North Louisiana have hope.
7) Arkansas State - This is a team that lost to two I-AA teams last year. They can't fill their own stadium for Ole Miss, they have a new (good, but new) coach, and what's ASU fans #1 concern? Blaming Arkansas for all their troubles. Unless Roberts can a) find a QB, b) motivate them, and c) win enough games for stAte to draw a crowd, look for the Indians to soon slide to I-AA
