Is Ohio University the new target for Akron's animosity?
I found some interesting reading on Rasor on the Zips. It seems that the editor believes that Zip fans should also make Ohio University their target of hatred. He writes,

We read that "article" when it came out on the eve of our game at the JAR. Rasor already isn't liked by us after accusing us of "Chris Webber-level violations" concerning the Bubba transfer. That particular piece contains a handful of lies and made-up facts along with demonstrating a lack of knowledge about the MAC and his own school. Of course, Zip fans thought it Pulitzer-quality work.

Actually, according to your own document...

"Dambrot used the word "******" during a locker room session with his players and coaching staff either during the halftime or at the end of a basketball game in which the team lost to Miami University of Ohio. According to Dambrot's testimony, Dambrot told the players they hadn't been playing very hard and then said "Do you mind if I use the N word?" After one or some of the players apparently indicated it was okay, Dambrot said "you know we need to have more ******* on our team. . . . Coach McDowell is a ******, . . . Sand[er] Scott who's an academic All-American, a Caucasian, I said Sand[er] Scott is a ******. He's hard nose, [sic] he's tough, et cetera." He testified he intended to use the term in a "positive and reinforcing" manner."

While Dambrot was still wrong, it's a far cry from your misleading paraphrase that would conclude he just went on a racist rant if they didn't click your link.

Guys...don't think for a minute that the editor of the school newspaper speaks for every Zips fan.

Geeeeeze!

As for Dambrot...this water is not only under the bridge, it is somewhere near a polar cap.

He made a misjudgment..apologized, fell from grace and worked his way back up.

You guys make him out to be a candidate for Lucasville for crying out loud.

He paid his dues on that one.

I have to agree this is old news about Dambrot, NGF. Doesn't appear to be a re-occuring problem.
