NIU to play Idaho in 2007
That's what I'm hearing out here in the Palouse.
I'm completley jacked about this for multiple reasons.
1) The university of Idaho is 8 miles from Pullman
2) It's a guranteed win. Idaho sucks.
3) It's a game against the WAC
4) it's a home and home (they go to DeKalbin 2009)
5) I finally get to see them live for the first time in years!

I know very few of you (if any) will make it out here but I will say the Palouse in September is incredible.

I am quite confused by this.
If this is true, this would have to confirm the 7 game MAC schedule.

Does this mean we will have at least 3 OOC home games in 2009? I am almost positive we were scheduled to host Western Illinois in 2009, along with Wisconsin, and now Idaho.

we have our 4 OCG for 07. Either we are replacing SIU or playinf 7 conf games. I would be against playing anything less then 8 con games.

If this is true, we have 5 OOC now.
vs. Iowa
vs. Southern Illinois
at Idaho
at Wisconsin
at Navy

We would have to be replacing SIU, which is fine by me. I could care less about playing them. The SIU game might actually get pushed back until 2008 so then we will have a full four game schedule in 2008 (alabama, tennessee, siu, and navy).

I bet SIU gets pushed back to 2008 so we have a full four game OOC schedule set for then.

If SIU is gone, we have AT MOST, 4 home games this year. If the supposed 7 game MAC schedule gets flipped around, then possibly only 3.
That SUCKS. I can't see that happening.

Sure, it sucks, but Idaho is pretty much a guaranteed win. SIU is better than Idaho.

Alaska Airlines flies direct to Pullman/Moscow. Can be pricey (~$450-600) but if you do it early you can get a decent deal. I think the airport has just been certified for 737s...so maybe ya'll can charter a flight. lmfao
You can also fly into the Lewiston/Clarkston valley. Delta is set up there and i ust got a ticket for Chi-town for $400. That is a 45 minutes drive to the area.
Spokane is the largest "major" airport. It's about a 1.5 - 2 hour drive.
If this happens I'll answer all questions for you coming.
Oh yeah...the Kibbie dome is...well...interesting.
