EMU Needs...
EMU has a solid roster but needs to find a legitimate scorer - a guy that can go out and put up 15-20 every night. This team needs a star to build around or, better yet, a grouping of stars like the good teams of the 90's. Every one of EMU's championship teams had at least one or two future NBA players.

I'm not sure if that player is on the roster right now although Bowdry, Dumes, and Medlock have the potential to be All-MAC type players. EMU may have a deep roster but the talent level of the top players needs to be higher.

AGREE - NEED A GO TO GUY
A legitimate scorer would be nice. Williams from Pontiac Northern could fit the bill although it seems like he gets 30 one night and then 14-17 the next. Not sure what he had last night but other teammates were listed as the leading scorers in the win over Farmington. Perhaps someone who has access to the Oakland Press Box Score could advise - he's probably averaging about 22 per game.

Not sure if there is another legitimate big time scorer left uncommitted in Michigan, don't know if Rams and Co are recruiting anyone out of state.

Recruiting has been very quiet Skipper was at the last game and it seemed like a lot of potential players (names unknown)_ were there as well.

Would look for possibly some recruits at the Ball State Game Sunday.

Dennis, thanks for keeping us up to date on the recruits. i appreciate your effort.

I've seen Darryl Garrett at a couple games this year. That guy continually cracks me up. Something tells me he's not going to be on the team next year.

Garrett
IS A LEGITIMATE SCORER - WONDER WHY HE IS HANGING AROUND - NO ONE SEEMS TO KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT HIM AND I DOUBT HE IS IN SCHOOL ANYWHERE. HE WAS INELIGIBLE WHEN HE WAS HERE A FEW YEARS BACK (BOONE'S LAST YEAR), WENT TO PLAY AT SCHOOLCRAFT WITH CARLOS BRIGGS, BRIGGS DISMISSED HIM FROM THE TEAM EARLUY ON AND ACCEPTED HIM BACK LATE IN THE SEASON - DIDN'T PLAY MUCH. LAST I HEARD HE WAS PROBABLY GOING TO END UP AT AN NAIA SCHOOL. I WOULD HOPE RAMS WOULDN'T BE THAT FOOLISH TO ADMIT HIM - DOUBT HE WAOULD GAIN HIS ELIGIBILITY ANYWAYS.

ANY OPTHER RECRUITS VISIBLE YESTERDAY?

Amen on Garrett. We do not need Rico Harris, Jacque Hart Garrett and Gino Smith types on this team or in the program. Garrett was very talented but guess what you have to make an attempt to improve your live outside of the basketball court. Looking from the outside, I don't think Garrett likes structure or rules and as a result it has cost him alot.
