Great Win!
What a great win in a tough environment. That was a tough place to play and in a tournament atmosphere. That win is a huge momentum builder and will be valuable experience for the MAC tourney!

Way to go Flashes! 02-13-banana 04-bow 04-rock

Maybe they learned something from the Butler, Duke and Akron experience after all. hang in those last ten minutes.

The thing I like is how a different guy stepped up whenever we were in trouble.

Great win on the road. This win should continue to build the confidenece of our team. Now just no let downs untill the Akron game and we should be in good shape come tourney time.

Lets get out and support our team for the remaining home games and give them some momentum down the stretch!

The final four games of our reg. season run are going to be exciting no doubt. It's great to see some clutch FT shooting and some timely 3 pointers drop. Great win. Now let's pound Buffalo Wed. night. 04-rock

Compliments from a George Mason fan in their forum:

I caught the second half of the game and I thought our guys played well. The last few possessions where very indicative of how Kent State plays the game. They were very aggressive on defense, rotated well to the ball, were quick with the double teams to the post and just took us out of our rhythm.

the stats won't show it but have you noticed that when mincy is running this team the transition game is as smooth as butter, whem im watching omni dribbling down court ,im at the edge of my seat praying he doesn,t hit it off his foot, with mincy, you just know the ball is safe, this team just runs smoother with mincy at point...i will be lighting candles to every saint i know to get this kid a jump shot for next year . lmfao .... mincy + a jumper = a verry good guard.......... 04-rock

I agree. Mincy runs the team well but at the end of a game I'll still take my chances with Omni. I'll light a few candles for Mincy too. Although next year he will probably return to a more classic back-up role where he is great.

watched the game on 360.....Kent State looked every bit the class of the MAC today. Lots of energy lots of bodies going up and down the court. A nice win....way to show the CAA the MAC has game.

Great clutch plays down the stretch by Armon Gates. We should handle Buffalo at home, then it's a tough one at Ohio.

I think we can go 3-1 in our last four, to win 20 on the season, and give us at least the 3rd seed in the MAC Tournament.

If we win all four, we will be the one seed!!!!! 02-13-banana

We need a Toledo loss to get the #1 seed if we were to win out. We're a game back, though we have the tiebreaker shold we end tied with them for #1.
