We have earned a share of the title though and hold the tie-breaker over WMU. Even though they could still beat us to tie the series at 1-1, we went 4-2 against East teams and they went 3-3. After head to head, I'm pretty sure record against opposite division is the next tie-breaker.

Just shows you why you can't make too much out of one or two results. After NIU and WMU won their games over the weekend, they were "sleepers." The last two nights, they went back to sleep.

Toledo was never in danger of losing its MAC West lead.

Bobcats love that CMU score. Bobcats were in danger of slipping behind WMU in the battle for the 5th seed. Bobcats hold the tie breaker over WMU, but faced a much tougher remaining schedule. The Kent State win over Miami was also a good result for Ohio. Now Ohio needs to win out and hope Akron beats both Miami and Kent State. That would put Ohio in the third seed.
seeds
1. Toledo 10-2
2. Akron 10-2
3. Kent State 9-3
4. Miami 8-4
5. Ohio 7-5
6. WMU 6-6
7. CMU 5-7
8. Ball State 5-7
9. EMU 4-8
10. UB 3-9
11. NIU 3-9
12. BGSU 2-10

the good news is that we have Kent State and Miami coming to the Convo. the bad news is we still have to play Kent State and Miami...and BG and UB! yikes! not a great schedule for a team with very little depth this late in the season. gut check time!
