is a totally different team ,much improved in their inside game..peavy 6'8" 230 avg. 14 pts. ... tim pollitz 6'6" 230 avg. 14 pts. ...bramos 6'5" 220 avg. 10 pts. .. st. clair 6'9" 240 avg. 4 pts. not much scoring from him but he takes lots of room in the paint...and then off the bench dierkers 6'8" 230 4 pts. ..so this is a huge front line (for the mac)..actually tim pollitz. avg. against mac teams is about 19 points per game..i looked at some of the early games and bromos (a guard) and moosmann (also a guard ) were doing lots of scoring ,but after the akron game that changed and the top scorers in the games were the forwards ,and it shows, they are 7-1 since....kent always has problems with strong inside play, as much as i hate to say it ,this is not a good matchup for kent ,again, this is not the same team we played in january... if we can't stop the inside game its going to be a long night .......and im afraid it will .......

Miami beat Kent the first time around.

so far in the first half, the stand in the paint and pray defense is working ,they are doubling down and everyone goes to the paint ,lets just hope miami keeps missing those 3 , if they start hitting them that defense wont work.... ;-)

it was defense to perfection and they could not hit the side of a barn from 3...4-12 from 3... i was praying for that... ...yipppiiiii... lmfao

oldfan, when we double down in the paint and rotate correctly on the perimeter, the opposition doesnt get many good shots from outside, thats the point my friend, so yes, it worked.

We will see how good our defense really is when we play akron
