JONESBORO, Ark. - The Cajuns were leading 33-31 at the 15:37 mark of the second half when leading scorer Anna Petrakova was injured. Petrakova would not return to the line-up, as ASU used 11 Cajuns turnovers and a 15-10 rebounding margin to outscore the Cajuns 26-15 the rest of the way and claim a 57-48 victory.

The Cajuns (13-13, 7-7 Sun Belt) went to the free throw line just twice in the second half, compared to 12 trips to the stripe by ASU.
