great pics. and damn, i thought there was nothing in dekalb now. it looks like a ghosttown there.

as long as you know how to make a couple of friends there is plenty things to do in dekalb. thats all im going to say.

Those shots look quite similar to the postcards in my collection.
There was a publisher in Aurora who did a line of NIU postcards
in the late 60s to early 70s.

D'oh! They are postcards from that website!
I have never seen the postcard with the view
along Lucinda with VCBS and Danger House.

i was just saying in terms of development.

probably another 40 years from now todays campus will look just as barren.

I went to Northern when it looked like that It wasn't as nice as it is now, but it was OK. They should have a picture of the football field where people could only sit on one side of the field. There was no Engineering school and no law school. I went to school with the first person to earn a computer science degree for Northern.

It is way in the back but you can see the football stadium with only the west stands.
