Things are gonna get nuts around these parts in the next few days.

My bar of choice in the mid-1970's was TK's on the south side of Lincoln Hwy. between 1st and 2nd. I still have a wooden token from that place. At the time, I hated beer. I used to go there with a couple guys from my floor. I had a mixed drink for every beer they had. After 8 beers (and 8 mixed drinks for me), they could not stand all that well, so I piled them into my car and drove them back to the dorm. Amateurs!!

My 21st was spent at the jungle. Roomate at the time had a fake id, so he joined me. I think it was $2 growler night

First bar I got into underage was the Jungle. I was hanging with my roommate who had two football recruits he was showing around. That was a great place.

I bought beer at the Bottle Store on my 21st and didn't even get carded. I was leaked.
It must of been the air of confidence I walked up to the counter with that made him not ask for ID.
