I have seen a lot of college football in my day and GW is as good a back as I have ever seen.

i think we all agree on that. What the disagreement is how he'll do in the NFL and where he'll go with respect to the NFL draft

Can you imagine the shear range of emotions in this guys head? From genuine Heisman candidate to possibly not even being drafted. He must have a mind of steel to handle all this. I get pissed off and rant when my dog poops in the garden, but GW has remainded stoic and grounded in situations most of us might melt in........

Hats off, and best of luck. I'll be first in line to buy your NFL jersey.

As much as this injury is a downer for his chances, at least it was an injury that had nothing to do with size. Not a broken bone, not a collapsed lung, etc.. Anyone can pull a hamstring no matter what size you are.

But the issue is this is a lingering injury, going back well past the start of this year.

He had a while after the bowl game too, to get ready for the Senior bowl. How long does it generally take to get over a hamstring injury, assuming you're not playing on it like you would be during the football season?

well he could have re-aggravated the hamstring...very possible...sometimes they are very lingering injuries
