JUCO QB Sorry No/Other Comments
I think our prospects of signing a JUCO QB just got squashed. Andre Sloan El from Valley of the Sequoias in California was scheduled for an official visit this weekend. Nice size 6'3, 190, 4.5 threw for over 1,800 yards this past year as a split starter. He had started his college career over in Minnesota and was a two star Rivals out of high school. Yes, he would have helped but decided to sign a LOI with a Division II school. We missed out a three stat offensive lineman from the same school (he went to Troy).

Scout had us listed on another JUCO QB Luke Tracey from Fullerton JC out of California. Highly rated, but really wants to attend Idaho.

So unless Genyk has a surprise up his sleeve (and sometimes he has) it doesn't look like we did real well recruiting JUCOs which considering the youth of this squad is a shame.

After two years of trying and not getting anywhere in PA, Genyk did return to some familiar areas he did go after his first year, Illinois and Florida. Ohio and Michigan remain the two favorite states.

Unless something changes, I think we now have 18 verbals with maybe 6-7 scholies left if Priest is counted against last year's class.

There may things under wraps until signing day but it will interesting to see who gets the remaining scholies.
