hopefully some of those point-blank shots that we missed in the first half will fall in the second half. Louisville's fans are a bit disgruntled.

we should be up by 1 now but the refs shafted us big time. even Louisville's announcers said we got ripped off. 01-lauramac2

NIU had 28 turnovers. It was horrendously sloppy play on offense. All the missed FTs really made a big difference as well.

Ohio falls at Louisville 74-71.

Cats never gave up after being down by 16 in the second half. Both of Louisville's announcers said Ohio fans have a lot to be excited about this year! Let's hope they are right! 04-rock

Ohio vs. Division II Bellarmine tomorrow and vs. St. Joseph's on Sunday.

That's a good loss, IF there is such a thing, IF the NCAA tourney commitee takes notice, IF the Bobcats can kick butt the rest of the year.

I know, that's a lot of IFFFFs.

thanks for the IFs hehehe but in all seriousness, the only way Ohio is getting into the NCAA tournament is to win the MAC tournament. i have no delusions to the contrary. our schedule isn't nearly strong enough to get an at-large bid so we must win the tournament. if we fall short of that, i suppose the NIT is a possible option but a lot of games are to be played between now and then.

Ohio did show a lot of heart coming back from double digits twice. The fact that Ohio out rebounded Louisville is the story. Tillman becoming a "Danny Horace" type player for Ohio at pf alongside Williams with what Ohio has in the backcourt is gonna be very hard to stop. Akron also has that kind of firepower, but I think Ohio showed tonite that they can bang with some big players. Walther(thumb) and Davis (ankle) both got hurt tonite so we shall be how the next few games go. Bobcats didn't back down tonite and that has to make us Bobcat fans feel better.

thanks, FlashFan. i'm proud of our effort and hope we can get Bubba and Whitney healthy again soon. not being rude, but i doubt if we need either of them tomorrow but we would against St. Joe's. after Sunday's game we're off for 11 days so hopefully we'll heal during that time.

Yes, it's one of those "directional" railroads. ;-)
