TCU fans have to be the worst knobs to visit our MB. The other MAC schools had very decent fans. OSU and Iowa fans were helpful and not snobby at all.
It may be a Texas thing, possibly a private, Christian 'evangelical' thing, the reddest state in the Union thing, or a combination of the above plus their thinking that they should've received a better bowl bid despite their losses to 2 teams that are not even ranked in the top 35 (BYU and Utah).
Better hope you never have to play Texas A&M, Texas Tech or Baylor, then...our fans are pretty tame compared to them.
Also, you might want to check your facts a little. BYU is ranked -- and so are we.
By the way, by what criteria do you judge other team's fans? I don't recall reading any TCU fans calling you "idiots" or "knobs" -- or insulting your religion. Sure sounds like a bunch of redneck bigots instead of Blue State liberals to me.
Geez, how in the heck did BYU get ranked above California in two polls? With BYU's sos, I figure they should've been ranked no higher than 50.
lmfao
That's just downright stupid.
OK, I'll have to admit. Many of us Huskie fans on this board are really making ourselves sound very very stupid with some of these BS arguments.
TCU is ranked and rightly so. BYU is ranked and rightly so. BYU's only losses were by a field goal at Arizona and in OT at Boston College. BYU is a damn good football team, so is TCU. The Mountain West is the best non-BCS conference out there. Please don't try to deny these things. You only look stupid when you do.
Please also don't try to say that Garrett can't be shut down because of the Ohio State performance. May I remind you of: against Western Michigan 25 yards rushing, against Temple 45 yards rushing, against Toledo 54 yards rushing. You never know what will happen game to game.
Yes, we COULD beat TCU.
Yes, Garrett COULD rush for 200 yards.
While those scenarios are possible, please don't be ignorant and talk like they are guaranteed outcomes.
How can you say that the MWC is a non-BCS conference? Did Utah not play in a BCS game a few years ago? Doesn't any team now have a chance to play for BCS (i.e. Boise State)? Oh, I get it now.....slyly make them think that they look smaller than they really are. Good, really good.... lmfao
Also, BYU has won a national championship in the last 20 years.

BYU recruits better than most BCS programs and every mid-major program. They should pretty much be in a BCS conference, but i don't think they have intentions of doing so. At least that way they can dominate the MWC its entire existence.

Why yes I am young, I am 20, I hate school, cheated my way through high school I don't deserve to be at any school. I didn't have a problem with any fans this year, except for TCU fans. Shouldn't that say something? I enjoyed Toledo fans, OSU fans, Iowa fans, everyone else, but you guys. That has to say something.[/quote]
it's cuz they are all idiots here in TX. they all have the IQ of 8th graders. Texas people, i've learned, still think that you can win an argument with threats, cussing, and loud noises. Once again they are not smart. They have very little understanding of rhetoric and very few know how to write correctly. Now, I
