Quite impressive.. Also, Illinois Women are 6-1 so that win is looking better and better.

I've noticed you there.

You need to be in the Red Riot with us, but I know you think those seats suck.

Steph nearly dropped a triple double on Cincinnati tonight. Ms. York had about 14 points if I remember correctly!
Ladies are going to do big things this year!

Honestly, I think alot of it has do to with just having another year with Carol. The only real impact freshman has been Kylie York. Steph is going to put up some ungodly numbers this year. Going into tonight she was averaging 21.5 PPG. I am curious to see if she gets a look from the WNBA.

Next year we will have transfers from Auburn and Wisconsin!

MD, you really need to get to a game. The loss to IUPUI sucked, but hopefully they have a good year to make the loss look not so bad. We've already beaten a 6-1 Illini team (undefeated when we played them), and tonight we handed Cincy their 1st loss of the year. No doubt we have a shot at the tourney.

It's pretty amazing what Carol Owens has been doing with the NIU Women's Basketball program. NIU Athletics in general this entire 2006 year has been damn good.

NIU Women's Basketball has a RPI ranking of #28. If we beat Northwestern then NIU better be receiving some votes for the top 25.

I was thinking the same thing the other day. Do we have a team with a losing record yet? Men's soccer - NCAA Tourney. Women's V-Ball & Soccer - both in MAC Championship game. Football - going bowling. Men's Bball 3-0. Women's Bball 4-2. Wrestling - getting votes for Top 25.

Is this the Phillips effect? Or just all the stars alligning this year?

I went to the womens' game against U of Ill. They are an exciting team to watch and play good basketball. You should try to catch one of their games.

I believe the women's soccer team, even though they went to the championship game, had a losing record. They got hot at the end of the year.
