Cincy beat USF and Rutgers...
Anyway, their Sagarin ratings are basically the same:

Beat both badly, by the way. Last-minute, prevent defense TDs allowed for each, or else the finals would have been 23-0 and 30-3.
And Akron was up on Cincy 14-0 for most of the first half and only lost 20-14. So what's your point? Any team is beatable at any given time is mine!
Western Michigan looked like a much stronger team then Cincy after watching both in person.
By your rationale, no team is really any better than any other team, since any team is beatable at any given time. UC was up on Ohio State just before halftime, so I guess we can say that, even though OSU came back to win, those two teams are just about even.
As for your view that WMU looked "much stronger," well, that's in the eye of the beholder. We shall see on Jan. 6. May the much stronger team win. Of course, you're protected either way, since the way you see things, it won't matter who wins.... you just know that any team is beatable at any given time. (Why all this fuss about the BCS then? Why not just proclaim that any team is beatable at any given time? Big trophies for everyone!!)

Wow, that is some of the worst sarcasm I have seen in a long time.
But, oh no, I must say that you are completely wrong in your assessment of what I was saying. Yes I do believe any team is beatable at any time. But by all means we can't give big trophies as you suggest to everyone. What would be the point of playing games? We play games to see who can win that day, on that field, in that game, and it indeed does matter who wins. It matters because the teams that win on that field day, don't take opponents for granted, and work hard to overcome adversity. This will showcase their talents and show that they indeed do deserve their conference championship, bowl bid, the potential bowl trophy, etc...
