Little update from Georgia: The Bruner twins, Shaniece and Patriece, are with their Thomasville team in the state semifinals. The Atlanta Journal Constitution mentioned they were USA signees in a short preview of the tournament today. The girls are averaging 13 points apiece in the playoffs and combined for 19 blocked shots in one game.

Do they have any size? What can you tell us about them? They'll probably get immediate playing time as one gal quit the team about a month ago, and our good freshmen messed up a knee. I don't know when she'll be back. Rick makes them run too!

John,

Here is a portion of the press release about the girls. They should finally provide a little size for Coach P to work with.

Doug

Pietri welcomes the addition of height in that of the Brunner twins.

Dont' you mean our GREAT fantastic freshman?!?!

Woodard's surgery went well, so she will be back with the team next year to help the Lady Jags three-peat!

Thanks for the info Doug. The gals' games are really interesting. They play some good "below the rim" basketball. Their passing is very crisp, similar to Denver's mens team. Go Jags!
