Ohio and Western Michigan earn TV
CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Mid-American Conference has announced that Ohio's football game against Western Michigan on Saturday, Oct. 7 will be the MAC TV Game of the Week. The game will now begin at 12 p.m. rather than the originally scheduled 7 p.m. start time.

The game will be produced by ESPN Regional Television and is scheduled to air live on FSN Ohio (RSN, Ohio), Comcast Local (RSN, Michigan), Comcast Sports Net (RSN, Chicago) and Time Warner 13 (Cable, Buffalo). Michael Reghi will handle the play-by-play on the telecast, with Bob Chmiel adding analysis. Jeff Phelps will serve as the sideline reporter.

The addition of the Western Michigan game to the television schedule brings the number of Bobcat games on television this season to five. Ohio will face Rutgers on MSG on Saturday, Sept. 16. That game will also be aired on WQCW-TV in southeastern Ohio and WSFJ-TV in central Ohio. The Akron game will be shown on ESPNU on Nov. 16 and the Miami contest will be televised by ESPNU on Nov. 24. The Bobcats' win against Northern Illinois was shown live on Comcast Sports Net Chicago.

Following games at Rutgers and Missouri (Sept. 23), Ohio will return home to face Bowling Green on Sept. 30. For information on tickets, call the Ohio Athletics Ticket Office at 1800-575-CATS.
