I was watching a replay of the Virginia Tech at UNC game last night and the color commentator made a point that ties in with Dave Hackenberg's article. After the Tarheels freshman QB got visibly upset with his and the team's play, the analyst (clearly a former player) stated that you can not dwell on your past mistakes and harbor negative emotions. You must focus on the present and move forward. Otherwise, you are doomed to play in the past and not improve.
The quotes of Rocket players sound like they understand this point and are trying to move forward. Let's hope the Kansas game is a major step forward. As has been stated in other threads, for those of who were in Ames, we saw the character, spirit and ability of this team. It's time for the home crowd to see it too!

i say we win Friday and really pick up momentum to finish a MAC Champion season at 10-2.
