Thanks for sharing - nice to see another perspective that I didn't remember from the game! (that's what more pictures are for, doh!)

Thanks Paul. I agree that photography is like umpiring. Have multiple views from different perspectives make life more interesting.

I sent a lot more photos to Joe Power (Oddball) that he didn't post.

I like to shoot series of photos - I have the sequence of the blocked PAT that ISU players gathered around and watched allowing Chris Hopkins to pick it up and take it into the end zone for two points. I also captured a Richard Davis 38 yard kickoff return showing the blocking opening the return lane. I was also fortunate enough to get the juggling catch by Chris Hopkins where he bounced the ball three times before securing it in the end zone for a TD. Oh, and then there is the "dance sequence" of Coach Amstutz on the sidelines during a time out when the ISU band was playing an upbeat tune. These types of shots need captions to explain what's going on. Joe doesn't use captions in his photo galleries.

If you have any suggestions on how I can post these on the world wide web, with captions, I'd appreciate it. I use YoPoW (Your Photos on the Web) for posting photo albums on my site http://www.northernvirginabrittanyclub.com but I have never posted an album or gallery on any other site.

Love the Hopkins sequence...

I use pbase.com (many, many photogs use that) and I have the dalbum program running on one of my websites. Both will do captions quite well. Pbase costs a few bucks (really cheap considering what you get) and it has many options. It would probably take you a couple of hours sitting down and doing some R&D on the topic....I know I've certainly put my time in on understanding how to use these programs...doesn't hurt I have a technology background as well, so I've well versed in how to do web hosting, server-side stuff, etc....

I usually try for a sequence of images - just depends on what comes out. Sometimes I keep a few images in there that technically I shouldn't (out-of-focus, blur, etc), but some of them are so critical to the game that they're worth at least holding onto.
