Anybody know anything on the 4 new players. One was an early signee last November but the others are not your normal recruits. One is a senior so I wonder if she is a walk on or a transfer. A second is a sophmore who is either a walkon, transfer or junior college signee. Anybody know? The fourth is from the Czech Republic. Any info?

Burden, some weeks ago I posted about an oral from a high quality point guard from North Canton, Ohio. I can't recall the name but I could look it up. She can sign in November, and will be with Kent for the 2007/08 season. Beyond that, I don't know anything.

Here is what i came up with after some research.

Lucie Luprichova 6'1 Freshman Forward 7.7 pts, 2.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists
Couldn't find much on her. True Freshman from a private catholic academy in WV.

Kate Verhof 5'6 Sophmore Guard Transfer from Univ. South Florida. Formerly all everything in basketball and volleyball from Elyria. Also had two sisters who were pretty good ball players according to some of the things I found.

Jamilah Humes, 5-9 Freshman Guard 18 ppg, 5.0 spg, 4.0 rpg From a Class A school in Michigan, lots of raves about her leadership and scoring ability.

And the odd one that i can only find a little about.
Kristin Peoples 5-6 Guard Senior Transfer/ Graduate from Arkansas. According to Univ of Arkansas she graduated back in the spring in only 3 years so she has one more year of eligibility. Not sure if she is enrolling as a grad student and playing a year or what...never heard of someone doing that so ya got me.
