I didn't read anything before the IU game. I think with respect to UT, he's being candid. He may also be lowering expectations given the Broncos had the biggest turnaround in the nation last year. You're right, his statements really don't make for good recruiting PR.

Answer to your question, NO. That being said honesty is reality to him. He doesn't blow smoke like his counterpart at CMU. You are the better program and team right now. HE IS A GREAT COACH , THOUGH.

You can tell our coach has you as the top dog. But man Cubit coached up an undermanned team.
