Anyone in NC? This begins my fifth season in NC, and as such the ONLY Rocket fan that I have met in the area is the ugly fat guy staring at me in the mirror.

Anyone, anyone? Bueller?

For what it's worth, I will probably be at the Box Seat in Greensboro (on High Point Rd) for the Kansas game if anyone is going out.

Big fan in Raleigh, but I am in the process of moving to Washington DC... anyone in DC with advice about the area?

Wow, I don't remember that. I would have definately remembered that. I only know 2 Smitty's from NC: MC and DB. I must have been drinking very heavily. I didn't end up in jail that night did I?

I live in ATL but spend a lot of time in Charlotte. Graduated from UT back in 96. I've converted a lot of Southerners to Rocket fans.
I'm actually in Charlotte this weekend.

I moved from the Falls Church, VA - 7.5 miles from Capitol Hill - two years ago. I lived there for nearly 30 years. What type of advice are you looking for and, outside of legal, I'll try my best.

Rocket fan/grad in Raleigh. I have been able to convert a few locals as well.

Sammy's Tap & Grill in Raleigh (near the NC State campus) shows every televised Toledo game on their main big screens. We usually have a handful of Rocket supporters on hand...

I think this is a great thread, seeing more and more Rocket fans drop in. There are more Rocket fans out there than you might think, they just haven't found their way here yet.

And what business do I have dropping in? I was born in Wilmington, so that should least qualify as an honorary NC Rocket fan. :dance:

I was living in High Point, NC until February, when I moved back to the Mississippi Gulf Coast. So I guess I am the MS UT Fan.
