Just got done purchasing my new engine for the Huskie Mobile!!!

I was able to get it for $950 using best offer. Shipping was only $110 delivered to my house and no core charge either!!!

I would normally be a little hesitant buying a remanufactured engine off of ebay, but the seller has 300+ feedback and 100% positive feedback on his engines. Can't wait to get that bad boy and get it installed.

Did you get the engine in yet? I pulled Billy's truck all the way from Florida and it lasted one week. The trans went out yesterday and I have called everywhere trying to find a decent deal on one. The truck is only worth approx 1500 dollars and the cheapest trans is 550 plus instalation. Billy bought a scooter today so maybe that will get him around for a while. I need to sell the truck for parts, if you know of anyone looking for a good parts truck let me know. Its a 1992 Isuzu pup 2.3 air runs good no trans.

That would be great if he could find a trans. The specs are 1992 isuzu pup 2.3 liter, 5 speed manual. You can pm me if you'd like and thanks for the help.

That is sweet that Billy got a scooter. What kind did he get? I know a lot of players have scooters at NIU. Don't know if you have seen it, but I have a '87 Honda Elite 50 that I replaced the engine with a 70cc kit.

I will be taking pictures of the engine swap along the way and putting them on my Website. The engine is painted black, so I think that I will be painting all the parts off the old engine in red that I will be moving over to the new engine. This will include the valve covers, oil pan and timing cover. It won't really be visible from outside the van, but who really cares!

Well you could pop the hood at the games, and on the inside of the hood have a sweet Huskie logo!

Thats a good idea, but on vans the hoods are so small since the majority of the work is intended to be done from the inside of the van.

Oh i know that. I was just suggesting a way to show off the paint work you do on the engine. Just a different way for people to see the Huskie logo displayed!
