Nate Moore selected by Royals in fourth round of MLB Draft

TROY, Ala. - Troy University junior relief pitcher Nate Moore was selected as the 115th overall pick in the 2004 Major League Baseball First Year Player Draft by the Kansas City Royals in the fourth round on Monday.
Moore, a second-team All-America selection by USA Today, became the first Trojan taken in the draft since Aaron Kirkland was taken in 2001 and was the highest pick by a Troy player since Jorge Soto went to the Oakland A’s in the third round (93rd overall) in 1999.
