This was posted on a Mean Green board by SUMG. Kudo's to those who appreciate our troops
While at home for lunch, they had a nice story on the Fox News Channel:
On a recent American Airlines flight, a bunch of our soldiers boarded the flight, as they were on two weeks leave from Iraq.
As people had gotten seated for the flight....a person in 1st class went back to the coach section, and told a soldier that he would like him to take his spot in first class---this guy traded seats with the soldier. After seeing that....every other person in 1st class went back and did the same thing....so that 1st class ended up being filled with our brave soldiers.
Nice gesture........

As a veteran that story really tugs at my 'heart strings'. What an awesome show of support for our men and women in the military.
God Bless America!!!!

Here's a post by VUCE80 on the Middle Tennessee board. Gotta love the support for our troops many have.
"I was on a flight about 6 months ago in which they announced that there were 10 Rangers aboard, just back from Iraq. At the end of the flight, everybody stayed in their seats and let them off first, and cheered for them as they left".

MG -- That is too cool; I love to hear things like that. I always try to meet a person in uniform and thank them for what they and their family do for my country each and every day. It is not an easy life!
