Congrats Zips
First off, it looks like Mardy will be okay. He was held overnight - but there appears to be no spinal cord injury.

You guys did a great job hanging around in the first half and then, in the second, attacking the rim and the glass which opened up your shooters - who made us pay.

Hopefully you all will be one of the MAC squads we face next year for a chance at vengeance.

Good luck in Nebraska.

lmfao

Starting tomorrow at noon, it might as well not even exist.
Not meant as a(n expected) slam at Akron--we've been there the last three years. It's hard to find NIT info once the NCAA begins.

Honestly, I think the NIT is a fun little tourney for us mid majors. Its post season that in the end is winnable.

Most of the games are on ESPN. Its hard to really think about it since the NCAAs are just so much fun to follow instead.

That seems like a game they would televise, but who knows anymore. If it were up to Billy Packer, it probably wouldn't even be played..

ESPN owns exclusive broadcasting rights to the NIT, which means that not even internet audio subscriptions (I subscribe to one for Akron via CSTV.com) can broadcast games, as they've down all season.

However, it appears that Creighton has been made an exception somehow, so you can watch the game for 7 bucks on a web feed if you want:

Good game Zip's. You adjusted very well the second half. Good luck with the rest of your season.
