I don't see us winning the MAC next year, not with what we lose.

I do, look, Reichel will have a year under him, that will make him stronger, Q Lip will probably get some playing time, Ben Rand will be healthy and a team leader, plus with our recruits, i see good things

Q might not be here next year. Rand might not be healthy till the middle of the season. I don't see us doing that good.

Where did you here Q wasn't gonna be here, if ur just saying that, then its mularki...but Rand's injury will not take that long to heal, he's not Kerry Wood or Mark Prior

The ACL will take at least 9 months that puts us at December at the earlierst. And there has been a lot of speculation that Q will transfer, I think someone said he actually mentioned it.

speculation is NOTHING, with the rules for transfering and sitting out a year, do you think Q wants to be on the bench for another year??? I think not, he's not going anywhere

Two twnths after the made basket --- besides, it doesn't matter -- you get the two-- you lose by one. You kick it out for three, and you at least have a chance - besides WHEN YOU ARE GETTING THE REBOUND YOU DON'T KNOW IF IT IS 2/10, OR WHAT IT IS. My point is COACHING -- you have to drill that into their heads that a two in that situation DOES NOTHING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They said he was trying to draw a foul.

I didn't hear that, but that's legit. If he had someone around that he could have likely drawn a foul, then that's ok. A smart coach on the Toledo side, though, would coach his players not to even challenge the shot in any way -- run away from the kid if you have to--- because giving up a two at that point in time if you're Toledo is not going to hurt you.

But your point is well taken.

i wouldn't blame him. espeically since someone says he mentioned it to him, i see it coming true that Q is not on the huskies next year. i hope i am wrong, but i don't hold much hope.

Yeah I heard that also.

Besides this game wasn't McKinney's fault it he actually played pretty well. Toledo is a team the likes to steal the ball, and we didn't take care of it.

Hopefully M&M and Q are back next year. We are going need need McKinney if we want to go anywhere next year. Mike and TP were 2 of the main reasons we were in the game.

I'm not laying blame, but reading the box score, McKinney had 5 turnovers. That is not playing well. McKinney is athletic and can make great plays, but he is a turnover machine. Unless he corrects that this offseason, he will be leading us nowhere next year.

to be trailing by 21 at one point obviously means that Judson did not have these guys for prepared. I am also tired of his half-court philosophy by just throwing up 3's on offense and "playing" defense.

this is a joke and a game we should have won. We all celebrate being MAC West champs, but what does it matter when you can't even go to the fking semifinals of your conference tournament? If Judson is back next year, this team won't win 10 games..not with all of the guys we lose.

Rand will be a while. I've heard it was a pretty seroius injury. Playing at all next year will be a testament to the doctors and the kids rehab.

Unbelievable.

McKinney had 12 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals, but you point out his turnovers.

What a joke.

it takes a full year to completely heal an ACL injury. I highly doubt Rand will be able to go at all next year.

Which leaves us

Lipkins/Paradise/Yelder
McKinney/ Oruche/Brown
Pancratz ????
Reichel, Kelley (i think thats the freshy's name)
Hughes, McKenzie (maybe)

McKinney and Hughes are going to need to be monsters.

Funny complaint coming from a guy only focusing on the positive stats. Together, you guys make a more complete analysis of McKinney's day.

it would be nice if Hughes gained 15-20 pounds in the offseason. The only thing holding him back IMO is that he is too thin.

Yes, it would certainly be nice to have some height and muscle in there to give us an inside presence and rebound better.

He was 2nd on the team in points (Peterson) 2nd in asissts (AM), 1st in rebounds, and 2nd in steals (Sims). He shot 5-9 from the field and 2-2 from deep. He probably had the best overall game on the team.

If you listended to the game at least 2 of his turnovers came off of catchable balls (accorinding to Baker) for McKenzie down low.

McKinney takes more heat on this board for no reason then anyone. He and Sims put up similar numbers this season yet Sims is praised and McKinney is "underachieving".

Sims had 4 turnovers today and shot 4-10 from the field anybody talk about him? Nope.

Ok McKinney had 12 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals, and 5 turnovers. That is a very good game.

Yeah, he had a pretty good game. He also had 5 turnovers. You can't just pick and chose the stats you want to look at.

Maybe people expect more from him. Although, I disagree about him taking more heat than anyone.

I noticed Sims 4 turnovers, but your comment was about McKinney's game not Sims. Nor did I praise Sims. McKinney can be a very good player. However, he is a turnover machine. He needs to improve that. That is what I pointed out. But if you say McKinney had a very good game, fine.

While Hughes and McKinney both did okay this season they did not meet preseason expectations which were much higher than what they produced.
McKinney I think did underachieve based on his performance the year
before. Perhaps our expectations were too high.

I dont care what you say, it is because of mckinney that we were even in this game, whether he commited 5 turnovers or not, he brought us back and gave us momentum to make that huge run at the end.

one...........point..............
