<span style='font-family:Times'><span style='font-size:12pt;line-height:100%'><span style='color:blue'>Alot of people are going to think I'm full of it for saying this, but I think Louisiana-Monroe is going to surprise alot of people this year. We have them in our place this year, but dang that game scares me a tad. ULM has gotten better every year we've played them.
You figure they got a pretty good special teams unit so that'll help them in the field position battle.
But their offense will probably be the most solid it's been in a very long time. Quarterback Steven Jyles could play anywhere and so could that runningback, Kevin Payne. Watch out for those two. Jyles has an arm. I hear ULM has some pretty good up and coming receivers.
If ULM has any problems, it'll probably be on defense, but their defense seems to do progressingly well also.
I'll come out and say it right now. Having seen the progression the Indians have made, I think that they will finish in the top half of the Sun Belt this year.
They've got a favorable home schedule too. They have Arkansas State, Florida International, Utah State, and Louisiana-Lafayette at home. Honestly, I can see them winning all of those. I'd say they stand a great shot of winning a few roadies as well at Florida Atlantic, at Idaho, and yes, maybe even at Wyoming.

BlueRaider,
You are correct ULM will be playing spoiler this year. We barely got by them last year and of course everyone knows they are the only Belt team to beat Might UNT.
This should be a fantastic year. I do hope they beat Wyoming and FAU, just to help the belt in non-conference.

Forgive us if we don't do our part to help the non-conference record this year.
We are also trying to represent the FUTURE of the Sun Belt with all and any wins we can get this year...

I thought that Coach Schnell had made arrangements with NMSU's Practice Squad for a game at their place vs our guys...
