The only RANKINGS that really count.
AKRON IS THE MAC CHAMPION...
NOT THE RUNNER UP like Northern Illinois
NOT A DIVISIONAL CO-CHAMP like Miami or Bowling Green or ever Toledo?
http://uaim.dyndns.info:16080/photo_gall...sc0050.htm
To claim a CO-CHAMPIOINSHIP is pretty sad and shows how desparate you are as fans to cling to comething that you could not WIN. That is the reason why Akron never put up a East Division Co-Championship from the 2000 when the Zips TIED with Marshall. If you are not in the CHAMPIONSHIP GAME you are not a Divisional Champion in anyone's eyes except your diluted, pathetic self-image.
IF this of IF that - kiss my tail. IF my Aun't had balls she'd be my Uncle, or a co-ed from Ohio.
IF? You are completely pathetic.[img][/img][img][/img][img][/img]

The Akron fans are reminding me of Marshall in the late 90's when they re-joined the MAC. They are going to ruin this place with their ego's. And some people think that UT fans have big ego's!!!!
I'm close to ignoring every Akron fan alive.

My favorite part is how he'll start a new thread, and then move on to another as soon as he has been proven wrong or discredited. Awesome.

Guys, Guys........Can't we just get along here.
Akron is trying to help the MAC out. As a league we have to puff our chests out like CUSA....then we get the TV money.
When you have the money, then you have the power.
When you have the power, then you get the woman.....

there is a difference between a great PROGRAM and a great YEAR. I think someone else in another thread pointed this out, but this yahoo from Akron seems to have forgotten it, so I'll reiterate here.
Examples of great football PROGRAMS in the MAC (i.e., those schools which produce winners on the field consistently from year to year)...Miami and Toledo are perhaps the best historical examples of this. An argument could be made for BG, and it seems the next school that will be added to this list is Northern Illinois. These schools have produced MULTIPLE football championships and consistent, winning programs year after year.
Examples of football programs that had a great YEAR (i.e., the MAC's equivalent to music's "one hit wonder")...well, I'll let you fill in this blank yourself, MMWILLY!

A bit like Marshall, agreed. However not to worry, unlike Marshall, Akron is not in the habit of actually winning with any degree of regularity, so I expect this uprising to be quelled by the fall. Then these silly marsupials can return to

Me thinks someone needs a nap. Wittle Willy gets *cranky* when he's tired and forgets how to play nice with others.
