Congrats to the Zips.
Just have to work on perimeter "D" and free throws and get ready for Ohio.

Hopefully. We are really going to need 1 win between you and Kent then we get into the MAC west schedule and hopefully start piling up some wins.

By far the best team we have seen so far. Wow I'm glad we don't have to go to DeKalb. Ohio will definitely have their hands full. I'm sure we will see this team in Cleveland. Your shooting percentage was lethal even on the road. I believe it was even better than ours for most of the game. NIU can never be counted out of a game because they come back so fast with several three point shooters. Your big man was pretty much a nonfactor though. Teams have definitely been effective inside against us, and I'm suprised NIU didn't attack more especially with key players in foul trouble early. Nice game and good luck the rest of the season.

Yes. Now the real games begin. 15 games left (14 MAC and bracketbuster). 8 are on the road 7 at home. The level of difficulty goes from a 1 to a 10 in the next few weeks. Top 100 teams on the road looking for revenge on tv against Ohio. So far Ohio is 3-2 on the road and 7-0 at home. We just had our last cupcake game and it tasted sweet, but we are in tournament mode from here on out.

Akron belongs in the top 25. The more I think about it now, the more I know there will be 2 teams coming out of the MAC for the NCAA tourney. Right now best bets would be Akron and Northern Illinois.

Akron dominates NIU again. NIU always seems to have an Achilles Heal. The last couple of years it has been Toledo, this year it's Akron. There's no way NIU has any chance of getting to NCAA tounament unless it wins the MACC. Even if they win MACC NIU will be one and done. I hope we can humiliate Ohio on Tuesday. That would make my day.
