Youth reigns in secondary for Indians

The future for the Arkansas State secondary is now and head coach Steve Roberts knows the rest of the Sun Belt isn’t going to have sympathy for the Indians’ youth and inexperience in the defensive backfield.
Of the five projected secondary starters in ASU’s 4-2-5 defense, three of them are redshirt freshmen and one is a redshirt sophomore with limited playing experience.
Veteran players with experience but not listed as starters, Chris Littleton and LeUndo Adams, were recently dismissed for violating team rules.
Only senior strong safety Alex Peoples, with 23 career starts and 210 tackles in three years, returns for ASU.
