saw Crawfish and MickZat, good to see those guys, glad I got out of babysitting 04-cheers

I noticed that the (apparent) starting O-line looks like it is

LT Brandon Cox
LG Greg Hodges
C Ronnie Harvey
RG Bryan Lloyd
RT Justin Earnest

2nd team
LT Will Chance
LG Ed Fane (may have been Ryan Gillis not sure)
C Chris Cutler
RG Zack Leger
RT Jesse Newman

All these guys looked bigger and stronger especially Earnest. also saw Freshman Bobby Fails.

The Tight Ends, all looked good. Saw L.J. and Belton make good catches.

Lawrence Johnson
Xavier Campbell
Kevin Belton
John Grotfrend
Erik Jones

Running backs I saw today: Chester Johnson (looked good), Josh Harrison, Dwight Lindon (had ice on hamstring hope it was just a cramp), Caleb Rubin, and a #26 not sure who this is but this guy has good size. Not sure but I believe I saw Levier watching practice in street cloths, hamstring must still bother him.

Fullback: Travis Cones looked good and in great shape. Ross Rix has added some much need weight (to play FB), could not determine which player was Marcus McCall but if I had to guess I would say he was wearing #45.

Wide receivers, Travis Smothers looked very good and seemed a natural at WR, others I saw working today: Bill Sampy, Jordan Jackson, Kemmie Lewis and Eddie Brown.

DB's: Michael Adams looked very good at cornerback. Lamar Morgan is wearing a huge brace on his knee that seemed to slow him down a lot. I am not confident after seeing him today that he will be ready for the season. He may be better off redshirting this year but I guess only time will tell.

LB's: Wes Simon made a great play guarding Rix on a pass, first team LB's today were Smith MLB, Norman and Robinson. Also saw Morel, Hadnot, and Klock (who could not wear a helment because of a bad burn he received while grilling). Asked about Risher and was told he was injured.

QB's: Got a look at our new freshman QB Desormeaux, he appears to have a pretty good command of the offense but I still believe he will redshirt unless a serious injury to Babb or Luke occurs. Babb appears not only stronger but taller (maybe just ny imagination).

Did not have time to stay in see the D-line.

Chester Johnson?

All reports were he was probably not here/out w/injury for this season.

If he is here and healthy, that is a huge plus.

I am concerned with our linebackers. 1st string should be O.K.

Big drop off after that.

In time, I think Hadnot, Burkhalter, and Vance will be a great group of LB's .
Hopefully, they can contribute this season.

I don't mean to knock the guy, but, last season, Chance looked short, fat, and slow. Is he really good enough to be 2nd string LT?

very hard to get a feel for any of the linemen's abilities because they are not going "live" I will say that Chance did not look short and fat :D I will wait until I see a scrimmage before I report on how I think any of the O-line is doing.

Read all about the practice held on Wednesday. By, the way I was just wondering do we have a tight end that can run the forty in at least 4.6 that weighs over 250 lbs. and is 6'5" or taller?
It seems like we sure do have a lot of guys hurting!
Boy, it sure would be nice to have a sellout for every home game!
I know it takes time to have things like that to happen. We are working really hard to see that happen in the next four or five years.

I believe that Johnson, Campbell and Belton are all close if not over in the height and weight you mentioned (6'5 250) but I have no idea what their 40 time is.
