I don't think Indiana St, Temple or Buffalo would be on ESPN. So those 3 should be Saturday.

All I ask for is to limit the weekday games to one per year.

Well I can see the Toledo and Miami games during the week again....and possibly even Ohio given the airtime they had during the week this year (but maybe the novelty of Solich has worn off)

These games have this written all over them.

Ag/Bus day
Band Day
Family Day

Toledo is the only good home game next year.

Remember, gang, that the move to a "permanent" 12-game schedule means less wiggle room as far as days. I remember a few ADs basically saying that schools would only be able to schedule one mid-week game per year.

Not trying to be a spoiled-sport but even if Wolfe rushes for 300 yards in those games it will be tainted by the fact that he's playing against weak opponents. This could hurt rather than help the slim Heismann chances he has.

As to the Saturday vs. weekday debate, sure I like to go to Saturday games more than weeknight games. But with a 200+ mile drive I can only get to 2 or 3 games, tops. The Saturday NIU games are almost never televised in St. Louis so the only time I get to see NIU play on TV normally is on a weeknight. So I would like to see maybe two weeknight games a year -- no more. Remember two years ago we played BG on a Friday night (the emergence of Garrett Wolfe)? That was pretty neat. I was able to take off at noon Friday and get to Dekalb 2 or 3 hours before game time, spend the night and get home early on Saturday. Trouble with Saturday games is I don't get home until at least 11 Saturday night.

Well these are the games on the schedule and we have to play them. So, 300 yards it is. Hopefully, those will be his first half totals when he ripps off 3 80-90 yard runs with a couple 5-20 yarders mixed in. 02-13-banana

Hey, I was just addressing the question of whether anyone would want to go to the games and not the implications for Wolfe and the Heismann. Sure, I would like to see better competition come to town. That would be even better.

Understood. Don't mind me. I'm just griping.
