Indians’ D-line young, athletic

Every day, Arkansas State defensive line coach Kevin Peoples observes his pupils learning something new.
The situation is much different than it was a year ago, when the Indians were blessed with an experienced front four that featured two NFL prospects. Six of last season’s top eight defensive linemen are gone, however, including stars Jon Bradley and Corey Williams.
While the replacements are very inexperienced in some cases, third-year head coach Steve Roberts also considers them to be very athletic.
“They’re not the technicians that Jonathan and Corey are, so we have to move them around and make sure they’re not having to hold up playing just base technique the whole game,
