More unseasonably cool weather graced the Cajuns on Friday as Louisiana worked 12 periods in full pads. The full pads workout was the first for UL in five practice days.
The first day in full contact featured three difficult drills, two team periods and a middle drill. In the first team period the offense was effective moving the ball on the ground and controlling the line.

Well, All I can say is that this time three weeks from now we will now the rest of the story. It seems like like that a lot of the good ball players are calling it a day. I still haven't a word about any walk on players . Just got through reading about some walk on's at ULM in the Newsstar. They picked-up two from West Monroe which is not too bad since it's right across the river.
I see where LSU is recruiting three players from the Lafayette area.
