Disregarding the upcoming Toledo games for now and looking towards the next couple of years. I believe 2007 is our next real legitimate chance to beat a BCS team (tennesee , iowa?) . next years team is still a little young at WR, but the 2007 team could be a solid veteran group with Nicholson, Davis and some seasoned WR's to lead the offense. Also, the true freshmen we're playing now could be truly solid Juniors at that time. We could be somewhat deep on defense and it looks like we have some decent o-linemen coming in. What do you think?

Just like Wolfe and turner coming out of nowhere, i will count on either Prime or Montell Clanton coming out of nowhere to keep our RB lineage going. Or who knows, maybe someone else??

tOSU will need to reload next year. All three of their starting linebackers are seniors this year. Perhaps we can crack the nuts next Sept.

Hey, the sooner the better. And a victory at OSU would be so sweet. I'll be there!

Also.. next year's recievers.. Marcus Perez ? Orlando Moore, Britt Davis, Turner. I'd think it will be a good squad if Perez plays.

Hopefully, when we play at OSU next year, for the first time in three years, we will play a BCS conference team on the road with a seasoned QB. In '04 we lost to Maryland and Iowa State with a young Phil filling in for Josh Haldi. This year, we lost at NU and UM with a still very inexperienced Phil (even though we did play well in both games). Last time we had a seasoned QB on the road at a BCS conference school...Alabama in '03...and we won.
I think we have a chance to pull off the upset at OSU next year. Our 'D will be much more experienced...hopefully a healthy GW...and hopefully solid play at QB with Phil or Dan. Marcus Perez coming back next year would help also. OSU will not be ready for us if we come with our 'A' game and take care of the ball.

If Dan wins us the MAC, we won't have an expierenced Qb @tosu next year because Dan will be the starter. I think that we can beat them, Wolfe, Davis, Perez is a ton of speed on offense and we should have a better D.

I would say winning the West and a trip to the MACC with a Bowl game would give him enough experience to qualify him as "experienced"

I forgot about Perez. He is a real sleeper. So quick and good hands. If he stays eligble and without getting hurt he good end up as good as Hurd if not better. Can you imagine him and Britt Davis as our wideouts!!! What speed. If I were a CB I would be real nervous.
