I just got back myself...what a game. I'll have my radio with me at the Huskie game so I can get updates on the score of the Sox game.

let me just say that the crowd looked ELECTRIC on tv the entire game. the announcers kept commenting on how into the game everyone was, even though we were up. good work guys, wish i could have been there with you!

The croud was great and you could feel the electricity in the stands. When Scotty P hit his HR the place was up for grabs, but it got even louder when Jose left the game. That was as loud as I have ever heard a croud anywhere, and I was up in the nosebleed seats in LF. I will have my radio at the NIU game tomorrow as well.

Absolutely unbelievable day at the Cell. Walking down the ramps after the game, and having nearly everyone chant "Let's go white sox" was simply awesome.

i thought the best part was after the game on Comcast's postgame show when they had Pat Boyle talk in front of a gathering crowd outside of the stadium...the crowd behind him made chants such as "Boston SUCKS" and my favorite one "W-G-N SUCKS." It was so random that it made it so funny 03-lol

i am admitting i am pulling for the White Sox...hopefully they go up 2-0 tomorrow.

Great start. Don't get too excited though, folks.

All I could think about yesterday was 1983, when we took the first game on the road. Four days later we were all watching Jerry Dybzinski hung out to dry between 2nd and 3rd (?), and there went our World Series.

I'm happy, but I won't let myself get too excited.

Fortunately, I have another, much ,more important sporting event this evening to keep my mind off it.

Go Huskies!!!!

It's nice that the White Sox can take something out of this series. When the series is over they can look back at it and say, "Well, at least we were able to dominate in the first game.".

I remember when the Cubs dominated their first game of their series with Boston too. Before they dropped the next two games.

Enjoy it while you can, White Sox fans!

That place was a madhouse yesterday. Sat in the left field bleachers and stood for over half the game. The roar was ear-splitting when AJ jacked his homer in the first. And I've never heard an opposing pitcher get the "nah nah nah nah" treatment like Clement did yesterday. What a day. One down, two to go....

It was unbelievable at Cominsky yesturday. I think we are going to hear outburst of cheers, out of nowhere, at the Huskie game tonight as the Sox roll. What a great night, Huskies and Sox with HUGE victories.

GO HUSKIES and SOX

well the Cubs did take 2 of 3 from Boston this year..we blew them out in the first game, we were down 4-0 in the 2nd game before coming back and winning that one. We did lose the last game by like 7 or so. If Buehrle pitches as good as Contreras did yesterday and if they can hold Ortiz and Ramirez as well as Contreras did, this series is pretty much over.
